Joe Turner

 

Back to the wall, rent to pay, Joe remained unemployed with no prospects after applying traditional job search methods. Realizing that there had to be a better way, Joe changed tactics.  He took charge of his job search by researching target companies, then launching a direct marketing job search campaign. Joe had created an effective strategy that landed him a new career as a high tech corporate recruiter.

 

He spent fifteen years finding and placing top candidates in some of the best jobs of their careers. As the market became more competitive, Joe implemented cutting-edge techniques to recruit stellar candidates for his clients' openings.  Applying his innovative methods, Joe built a winning job search system taught to thousands of job seekers worldwide with his book, Job Search Secrets Unlocked! 

 

Joe has become a job search expert who offers a proactive system to find and win jobs in a more competitive market.  Originally known as the “Job Search Guy” on the Internet, Joe previously wrote The Job Search Guy’s Interview Prep Workbook.  

 

Now a member of the Job Search Squad with partner Sue Swenson, Joe offers consulting, resume writing and job search advice on www.jobsearchguy.com, a blog offering advice to job hunters including an array of products and services including a coaching club and teleseminars.

 

As the economy worsens and companies face major layoffs, the market requires a new, effective approach to job search. Veteran of three career changes and numerous challenging job searches, Sue adapted a proactive strategy for growing her career. To maneuver the rough waters of the job market, Sue identified her transferable skills. Using a strategy that combined informational interviews and aggressive networking, Sue successfully transitioned from the public sector to the private.

 

She landed a job in the recruiting industry where she grew a career as a high tech corporate recruiter.  An entrepreneur by nature, Sue entered the world of self employment, growing a thriving business as a recruiter serving the semiconductor industry.

 

As a seasoned job search expert, Sue offers a proactive strategies to find and win jobs in today's increasingly competitive market.

 

Now a member of the Job Search Squad, Sue offers her job search and recruiting expertise by contributing regular blog articles, co-writing books with Joe Turner, and offering consulting services to job hunters seeking a more effective approach to finding employment in today’s competitive job market.

 

Sue holds a B.A. degree in sociology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a Masters degree in social work from Michigan State University. Sue resides in Phoenix, AZ.
